Training and CPD

Deploying the right technologies in a school environment is only effective if teachers feel confident utilising the tools available to them.

We aim to devise a strategy that will focus on providing meaningful CPD programmes that drive outstanding teaching and support technically-literate staff. Technology must enable teachers to do what they do best – teach. This is to ensure that teachers feel confident, through hands on training and designing a resilient infrastructure with minimum downtime.

The wider ICT strategy includes a programme of CPD for educators, developing ‘E-confident’ teachers who are comfortable with the classroom technologies.

We work to devise a school-wide CPD programme, that identifies gaps in technical skills and develops targeted training programmes. Regular updates and bulletins are provided to the appropriate staff on new technologies to keep your school abreast of new developments within the sector.
