“Partnership Education (PEL) is a great company to work for if you are looking to develop your skills and progress in your career. I started here as an apprentice then moved up to technician, after that I became an engineer which then led me to the role of senior engineer. Within those years I was exposed to all facets of IT. Be it plugging in USB cables to printers, replacing laptop screens, installing infrastructure such as wireless networks and servers. One of the larger projects I was part of and managed was a new build free school. This started with drawings and working with building contractors and architects to then installing the equipment into the site and supporting that provision day to day. Now I fulfil the role of Director which I find extremely rewarding. I would highly encourage anyone with a passion for IT to get in touch to join the team because it is a great opportunity to grow within the industry.” – Matt Hulbert, Director.
“My name is Chris, I’m one of the Systems Engineers and Account Managers at Partnership Education. I joined back in 2014 as a Technician coming from a School where I was their full-time IT support, then was promoted in 2016 to Systems Engineer. Since joining PEL in 2014, I’ve worked across various sites and saw a lot of different setups with many different types of equipment. My other role is the company H&S manager which I’ve been fulfilling the role of since 2019. As part of this, I have gained great knowledge of HSE regulations and take part in regular training around lots of subjects such as Legionella Awareness, COSHH, use of display screen equipment etc. Over the years I’ve had experience with all sorts of technology including specialist visual impairment equipment like a braille tablet, laser cutters for DT subjects and sensory rooms, all of which give a great feeling that you’re supporting and enhancing a learning environment.” – Chris Hill, Engineer.
“Since joining PEL as an apprentice in 2021, I feel like my technical skills have developed massively which has led me to successfully complete my apprenticeship. Everyone here is great to work with and there’s always someone there to lend a hand whether you’re a new starter or not.” – Nathan Fuller, Technician.
“I joined PEL in December 2021 and have been able to make huge amounts of progress and build my skills continuously. The work environment allows you to flourish and the whole team is great with being supportive, encouraging and reliable.” – Charlie Weddell, Digital Marketing Apprentice.
